![]() ![]() I've run out of ideas and I can't find a way to contact the Ralink software support people so I have tried their general contact details. The OS install is fresh from DVD and then updated using software update so I don't think I have installed anything that is likely to be causing problems. An earlier suggestion in this thread was to try checking permissions - this didn't work. In both cases the Wireless Utility (used to set up communication with the wireless network) wouldn't start and returns an error :- dyld: incompatible cpu-subtypeįrom a bit of Googling this suggests that the program wasn't compiled to support the G3 architecture. Both have Ralink chips and I had downloaded the latest appropriate drivers from the Ralink support site. 0 Wireless USB Adapter drivers for Windows devices with Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, and 7 (32-bit/64-bit). The 2011 date is based on dates of the disc contents I do not know if it is accurate. I think this contains Ralink drivers, along with bloatware. ![]() I was working on a Flower Power G3 iMac (500 MHz) running MacOS X 10.4.11 and trying to install 2 different USB based wireless adapters, a D-Link DWL-G122 and a newer no-name Wireless N adapter. Driver disc for Tenda wireless (wifi) USB adapter. ![]() I have just been banging my head against a brick wall with the same problem. ![]()
